Join the Tidewater Hokies for the 2024 Hokie Hike in Virginia Beach! Once again we will be “hiking” First Landing State Park, located on 64th Street in Virginia Beach. It will be a 3 mile hike along the Cape Henry Trail in First Landing State Park, starting at the 64th Street entrance, hiking to The Narrows, and then back. Free parking is available along 64th Street.

This is both a family and pet friendly event, so bring the whole crew!

Registration through Virginia Tech is not required to attend our hike, but if you would like any Hokie Hike swag, see information about registering below!

Registering is easy and there are different options for adults, children, and even pets. Once you register we’ll mail you some sweet Hokie hiking gear.

Each year thousands of Hokies have joined the fun completing hikes all over the world. Celebrate the great outdoors and the Hokie spirit with us!

Participants will receive a box of Hokie gear and a portion of each registration fee is a gift to support outdoor recreation for current students.

Adults with T-shirt: $30 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a long sleeve t-shirt and a sticker.
Adults with Hydration Pack: $30 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a hydration pack and a sticker.
Kids: $15 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a youth long sleeve t-shirt and a sticker.
Adults with T-shirt and Pet: $35 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a long sleeve t-shirt, sticker, and leash.
Adults with Hydration Pack and Pet: $35 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a hydration pack, sticker, and leash
Pet: $10 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a leash.
