Join the Tidewater Hokies for the 2023 Hokie Hike in Virginia Beach! Once again we will be “hiking” First Landing State Park, located on 64th Street in Virginia Beach. It will be a 3 mile hike along the Cape Henry Trail in First Landing State Park, starting at the 64th Street entrance, hiking to The Narrows, and then back. Free parking is available along 64th Street.
This is both a family and pet friendly event, so bring the whole crew!
Registering is easy and there are different options for adults, children, and even pets. Once you register we’ll mail you some sweet Hokie hiking gear.
Each year thousands of Hokies have joined the fun completing hikes all over the world. Celebrate the great outdoors and the Hokie spirit with us!
Participants will receive a box of Hokie gear and a portion of each registration fee is a gift to support outdoor recreation for current students.
General: $35 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a t-shirt, water resistant cross body bag, and sticker.
General with Pet: $40 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a t-shirt, water resistant cross body bag, sticker and a white pet bandana.
Kids: $15 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a t-shirt and a bucket hat.
Pet: $10 with $5 supporting Rec Sports at Virginia Tech. Package includes a pet bandana.
Please note, if registering only a pet, please enter the purchaser’s information, not the pet’s.
These items will be mailed to the address provided during registration. If you register for more than one person, all packets will be mailed to the primary address. To change the shipping address, email specialeventsoffice@vt.edu.
